INPEX CORPORATIONYear ended December 2025

Falling gas pressure changes the work at INPEX’s LNG project.

What emerges

Keeping Ichthys operating means maintaining equipment and adapting to changing conditions for recovering gas. The project shipped 112 LNG cargoes in 2025. INPEX is adding equipment to recover gas at lower reservoir pressure while evaluating future feed-gas sources. The phased BCM connection and commissioning disclosed on August 7, 2026 were plans at that date. Separating output, construction progress and potential supply makes the work behind long-term operation more tangible.
