Is Capcom a company that sells new games?
Game-company headlines revolve around new releases and launch sales. But when Capcom's 59.07 million FY2026 unit sales are split apart, new titles account for only 16.3%. The other 83.7% came from catalog titles released in earlier fiscal years.
Capcom is not only a company that must keep landing new hits. New releases reactivate older games, while digital distribution, PC, global pricing, media use and licensing extend the selling life of IP. An in-house engine and more than 3,000 developers support that cycle.
