Nippon Paper pairs the carton with the filling machine

Nippon Paper makes products including printing paper, paperboard, beverage cartons and household paper. For beverage producers, it supplies cartons for products such as milk and juice, together with filling equipment and maintenance services.

Open paper cartons approach a guarded machine and closed cartons continue on the other side, while a technician stands beside the enclosure.

The carton becomes part of a filling line

Equipment matched to the carton is installed at the customer’s plant, with adjustment and inspection after installation.

Match the carton and machine

Carton material is shown on the left, open cartons pass beneath filling nozzles, and closed gable-top cartons leave on the right.

A simplified sequence shows open cartons being filled and leaving with their tops closed. Nippon Paper supplies the cartons and compatible equipment.

Service engineer and customer

Support equipment and operators

A service engineer uses a tool at the side of a filling machine, while the customer’s operator checks its controls nearby.

A technician checks and adjusts the equipment, while helping the customer’s operator learn its use and care. Services also include inspection and overhaul.

Simplified process and equipment shapes, not the internal construction or actual speed of a specific model. The diagram does not imply that Nippon Paper owns the beverage or the customer’s plant.

THE VIEW AFTER THE NUMBERS

What the numbers suggest

Nippon Paper matches the beverage carton with the equipment that uses it and supports the line after installation. The carton business therefore reaches into customers’ production work.

Flat carton volumes in FY March 2026 sat alongside profit growth in domestic packaging and converting. Household products and overseas operations also helped restore profitability in the wider Daily-Life business.
