A schematic lift showing the chain-storage area and the loaded tabletop. Copper and navy distinguish the two interlocking chains.

Retracted

A lifting table holds a load close to its base. Two separate chains bend into storage below the tabletop while the guide arms fold down.Chain storage

Separate chains fit into the space below the tabletop.

Extended

The loaded tabletop is raised. Copper and navy chains enter from opposite sides of the base, turn around sprockets and interlock into a central column that pushes the tabletop directly upward.

The interlocked column pushes the tabletop directly upward.

Partly cut away to show the mechanism. Dimensions, colors and storage paths are schematic, not a model-specific engineering drawing. Real equipment uses guides and guards suited to the application.

CONCEPT MAP

The work the combined business aims to expand

Policy described in the integrated report published in October 2026.

Customers’ power-transmission and conveying needs
  1. Propose product combinationsWork across chains, reducers and linear actuators
  2. Connect development and productionDeploy people and production functions together
  3. Support equipment after installationUse technical representatives and customer data in after-sales work

THE VIEW AFTER THE NUMBERS

What the numbers suggest

Tsubakimoto’s ZIP CHAIN meshes two flexible chains into a column that can push a load. Chain technology reaches the customer both as components and as lifting equipment.

Yet Chain and Motion Control earned operating margins of 15.1% and 4.1% in the year ended March 2026. Their combination in the following fiscal year aims to broaden product proposals and work after installation. The company intends to pursue growth through cross-product proposals and after-sales service, but does not quantify the earnings contribution of each measure.

The growing value of Nifco's parts per car

Nifco supplies automakers and other manufacturers with small parts that hold assemblies together or smooth their movement. Its domestic average product value per vehicle reached ¥9,623 in FY2025. That domestic per-car measure differs from group results, which reflect global sales volumes and costs. Consolidated sales were ¥352.7bn and the operating margin was 13.6% in the year ended March 2026. The growing role of parts in each vehicle and the conditions for group profitability need to be read together.
