15 inspection points for every Pigeon nipple
Pigeon makes baby bottles, breast pumps, baby skincare products and other items for families raising children. Even the small artificial nipple at the top of a bottle brings together research into feeding movements and the quality-control work needed for large-scale production.

Measure a soft component and look closely
15 inspection points per artificial nipple. The report describes both instrument-based checks and visual examination.
Measure shape and movement
Dedicated instruments check molded dimensions, the feeding hole, ventilation valve, elasticity and other functions.
Examine the surface
Eyes and magnifiers check foreign matter, dust, excess resin and missing material.
These are examples from the 15 inspection points, not the complete list or an inspection sequence. Equipment and shapes are schematic; no dimensions or performance values are implied.

Study movements when the user cannot describe the experience
Pigeon has its own bottle-and-nipple factories in China, Thailand, Indonesia, India and Turkey. It identifies future sales expansion and higher factory utilization as ways to improve profitability. These are management intentions (report PDF page 7, printed page 11).

THE VIEW AFTER THE NUMBERS
What the numbers suggest
Pigeon’s bottles bring together observation of babies’ feeding movements and the work of repeatedly producing a soft component to a consistent standard. Individual inspection continues across an annual scale of more than 100 million artificial nipples.
Overseas expansion also requires explaining features and adjusting prices and the product range. Material research, factory checks and local selling decisions help explain the work behind a bottle on the shelf.
