THE VIEW AFTER THE NUMBERS

What the numbers suggest

Otsuka expands Pocari Sweat through a combination of local manufacturing and supplies from existing overseas factories. For Nature Made, it is adding capacity tailored to gummy supplements.

Its Pharmaceutical Business keeps researching future products as major medicines reach the end of exclusivity. Medical knowledge also informs everyday products, while each requires its own manufacturing and research work. That is the group visible through its factories and R&D spending in 2025.
